Wilson High School Shred Event Hugely Successful!
The Wilson High School Event held on November 1, 2014 was an awesome success, even though held the day after Halloween with rain. The Wilson's Female Leadership Academy did an outstanding job directing traffic and at the end of the day made over $1,000 in donations and we expect the six pallets of Electronic Waste to fetch another $600!
Thanks to everyone who participated and donated either cash or Electronic Waste. Thanks to the moms, daughters and Directors of The Female Leadership Academy. The biggest thank you has to go to the incomparable Sergeant Shredder, without whom this event could not happen. Sergeant Shredder is the premier shredding company servicing all of Southern California and I urge you to think only of Sergeant Shredder for all shredding projects.
As for me, I am so happy someone gave me the Shred idea five years ago. It is like a homecoming that keeps growing. I see old and new friends and everyone is appreciative of the effort. I am proud of my push for environmental safety by collecting household batteries. I am up to six pails full and I still have people dropping them at my house!
We plan on hosting a Spring Shred & E-waste at Minnie Gant Elementary School. The date is to be announced soon. Please sign up below to receive my Monday Morning Coffee which always includes Shred reminders.
