Young Long Beach Dancer Needs Royal Help
Just fourteen years old, Micayla Stone left her east Long Beach home last month to begin training with the The Royal Ballet School located in the historic White Lodge seen here in south-western London.
The Royal Ballet
How exceptional are Micaylaâs talents? Consider these facts: The Royal Ballet School is recognized as one of the most famous classical ballet schools in the world, over 700 students audition each year for 25 openings and 99% of the graduates go on to secure a contract with a national or international ballet company.

A few things you should know about Micayla: She has always been home schooled along with her two sisters and brother. Her family, her home, and her pets are her most precious processions. She overcame an injury that sidelined her from dance for a year. She is driven to succeed in the world of dance.
She was the only American accepted in the program this year.
Today Micayla needs our help to make it through the next two years at The Royal Ballet School since the cost is £30,000 or $48,000! It is a tradition that no financial aid is offered to the dancers their first two years and it is also tradition that these younger dancers find a sponsor, and since this is common practice is done frequently. There really isnât a model to compare this to in the United States but thankfully Micayla has established a GoFundMe.com account, that allows us as a community to support this exceptional young lady.
